Welcome to Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201! Minooka is one of the fastest growing elementary school districts in Illinois. We are located off Interstate 80 ten miles west of Joliet. The district has more than doubled our enrollment in the last four years. Currently, the district serves nearly 4000 students in five buildings: Aux Sable Elementary School (K-5), Minooka Elementary School (K-4), Minooka Intermediate School (5th & 6th grades), Minooka Junior High (Pre-K, 7th, & 8th grades), in Minooka, and Walnut Trails Elementary School (K-5) in Shorewood.
