  Ways to Help

 

· You could use less electricity.

· You could bike or walk instead of driving.

· Plant more trees, stop clearing forests.

· Use the three R’s reduce, reuse, recycle.

· Dry your clothes naturally.

· Replace your light bulbs with compact “fluorescent light” bulbs.

Coral reefs die from warmer weather, then the fish have to go elsewhere for food. You want the coral reefs to look like the ones above.

  I am a fourth grade student who researched about global warming with my class.

  I learned about the green house effect, which is gasses in our atmosphere that traps heat from the sun and keeps the Earth warmer. Some of these gasses are methane, nitrous oxide, and CO2(carbon dioxide).

             Some heat should get trapped in Earth’s atmosphere, but most of the heat should be let out by the holes in the atmosphere. Global warming is causing those holes to close up, which makes Earth warmer.

  Warmer weather  also means more storms and floods.       

                 Global warming causes more wild fires. These fires destroy homes and lots of other things.
