Welcome to the Minooka Schools! We are glad you are joining our school "family"! Our District consists of 5 schools (see specific school information in the upper right corner.) Our community recently demonstrated their strong support of this District with their approval of our referendum. We will be constructing two new schools, as well as renovating and improving two existing schools. This will allow us to continue our commitment to excellence in education.
Registrations are accepted at the District Registration Office, 304 Mondamin St.,Suite 124, in Minooka. Please contact the District Registration Office to schedule an appointment to register your child(ren.) Our hours during the school year are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM . Please follow link above to access registration forms, as well as registration requirements. Minooka District 201 does not accept tuition students. Students must reside in the District in order to attend our schools. Please contact the District Registrar if there are special circumstances involving enrollment into our District.

Notice of required physical examination and immunizations:
Students entering 5th grade, Kindergarten, or preschool in the fall of 2006, or any new students entering Minooka Schools must submit the completed and up-to-date Illinois Department of Human Services "Certificate of Child Health Examination" form prior to entrance into the school. Students not in compliance will not be allowed to begin school
until these documents are presented to school officials. This form is available at the District Registration Office located at Minooka Junior High School.

Notice of required Dental Examinations:
Students entering Kindergarten, second grade, or sixth grade in the fall of 2006 are required to present the Illinois Department of Public Health "Proof of School Dental Examination" form. This form is available at the District Registration Office located at Minooka Junior High School.

Student class hours are as follows:
Elementary School - 8:25 AM to 3:15 PM
Students who do not ride the buses are to arrive at school no earlier than 8:20 AM
Intermediate School - 8:30 AM to 3:20 PM
Students who do not ride the buses are to arrive at school no earlier than 8:25 AM
Junior High School - 7:35 AM to 2:25 PM
Students who do not ride the buses are to arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 AM
Walnut Trails - 8:25 AM to 3:15 PM
Students who do not ride the buses are to arrive at school no earlier than 8:20 AM
Aux Sable - 8:25 AM to 3:15 PM
Students who do not ride the buses are to arrive at school no earlier than 8:20 AM
Kindergarten Hours:

Any student who arrives after school has begun or leaves early from school must have a parent/guardian report to the school office to sign the student in or out. Students are not allowed to leave the school property without proper permission.
Parents of students who will be absent from school should call the respective school office by 9:00 AM to report the child's absence.
PLEASE SEE LINK ABOVE REGARDING KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR THE 2008/2009 SCHOOL YEAR. Please note: your child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2008, to be eligible for kindergarten. We are currently scheduling appointments for our Kindergarten Round Up scheduled for Friday, April 11.
