Behavior/Responsibility System
o At the beginning of each day, each student will begin with his/her card on blue
o During the school day, if you CHOOSE not to follow expectations, you will turn your card from blue to green
o Green = warning
o If you CHOOSE not to follow expectations again, you will turn your card to yellow
o Yellow = a yellow note will be sent home/phone call home
o If you continue to CHOOSE not to follow expectations, you will turn your card to red
o Red = phone call home/lunch detention/loss of recess
**Any severe disruptions will be dealt with according to school disciplinary procedures.
Smile-O-Grams
Students will receive Smile-O-Grams for making positive choices, acts of kindness, and displaying outstanding effort. For each Smile-O-Gram they earn, they may choose to have lunch in the room with Mr. Garner, have extra computer time, use a seat cushion for a couple days, or another privilege.
**Please remember, you will have to make difficult decisions in life. No one can make you behave appropriately. Only you can CHOOSE your path in life…make it a great one!
