A Look Inside Room 130...

Reading: We have begun reading biographies in class. Students will be using guiding questions to help them determine important information to record about the person's life and accomplishments. They will use this information to write a script from the first person point of view. We will also create computer animations to bring their people to life!
Writing: Students are going to learn how to use examples from text to support their responses when writing about reading.
Science: Our next science unit will focus on the changes to Earth's surface. Students will learn about earthquakes, volcanoes, and the effects of weathering and erosion.

Social Studies: 4A students will be creating resource maps for specific states. We will also learn about the economy of our country and the history of the United States from East to West.
The character trait for February is Fairness.

We have started to use Edmodo in 4A! This is an excellent way for our class to respond to literature and hold discussions.
I will be sending home RAZ Kids information soon. This is an online reading program students will be able to use.
