Students can read 3 books by February and may attend a voting party to vote for their favorite book.
Rush to Read
Students may read 4 books and turn in 4 book reports to the LRC by January 30. Students that complete the program receive tickets to a Chicago Rush Football Game
Tales to Tackle
Students may read 9 books between October and February and complete a special Bear’s notebook. Students that complete this program will have a chance to win a Chicago Bears Experience at Hala’s Hall!
Six-Flags 6 hour Reading
Students may participate by reading for 6 hours and keeping a log of their reading. Participating students will receive a ticket to 6-Flags Great America.
Jackhammers Reading Buddies
Students may participate in the Joliet Jackhammers reading program by keeping track of their reading throughout the spring. They will receive up to 6 Jackhammer’s tickets.
