Expectations
"Do the right thing,
even if it's hard."
This is the one
rule I have for my classroom, and
doing the right thing is what I expect from my students. 5th grade children are more than capable of understanding the difference between right and wrong. Sometimes it may be very hard to do the right thing, but in the long run, making
the choice to do the right thing helps
children build positive character
traits and become
responsible citizens.
