Turning assignments in
on time, studying for tests,
trying his or her best - these are
indications that a student is being
responsible. These qualities are necessary
for success in 5th grade. When mistakes
are made, owning up to them and not
making excuses is also the sign of a responsible student. At times, things
will be forgotten or a student's best effort
will not be put forth.
It's important to not blame
someone else. Learn from
the mistake and keep
moving forward.
